Position: Housing Officer
Location: Drumchapel, Glasgow
Salary: £35,022 - £38,456
Grade: EVH 7
Contract: Permanent 35 hours per week
Closing Date: 12.00 noon on Wednesday 20th July 2022
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and customer focussed individual with exceptional communication and organisational skills to join our Housing Services Team.
You should be able to operate effectively within a strong performance culture to deliver excellent performance results and customer care.
You will play a key role in the delivery of a broad range of housing services including rent arrears, factoring, allocations, repairs / maintenance as well as voids, tenancy and estates management
The successful candidate should have a minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a housing management role within social housing, be self-motivated, keen to learn and seek out knowledge, have excellent interpersonal / communication skills, good computer literacy (ideally in Microsoft packages) and must have well developed accuracy and analytical skills to enable the delivery of high-quality services for our customers. A positive “can do” attitude and the ability to manage a varied workload is also essential for this role.
As a minimum you should be educated to Higher Grade or equivalent as well as having a recognised housing qualification or a commitment to undertake a recognised housing qualification.
