The Glasgow Housing Register: Northwest online application system is temporarily unavailable while further development work is carried out.  If you would like to apply for social housing in the Northwest area or update an existing application, please contact the Housing Associations/Co-operatives to which you wish to apply directly.

Common Allocation Policy

We operate a Common Allocation Policy which has been developed in partnership with other local housing providers (Cernach HA, Kendoon HA and Kingsridge Cleddans HA).

The policy sets out an agreed, common approach that we will use to allocate homes that become available for let.  The Common Allocation Policy is based on a group, plus points system and has a clear focus on meeting housing need.

Visit our polciy documents page for more information.

Apply for Rehousing

To apply for housing with the Association, please download and complete the Application Form below along with a Medical Form if required. If you are engaged with any support services they may be able to assist with completing these forms, or you can contact the office and request an appointment with a member of the Housing Services Team.

These forms must be returned to our office either in person or by post, along with any supporting evidence you wish to provide.  The Housing Services Team will process these and add your details on to our systems.  You will then receive a letter by post acknowledging your application and confirming your allocated points which will contribute towards your placement on the housing register.

Alternatively, you can attend our office or contact us by phone or email to arrange for an application form to be sent by post.

Housing Options

The Association advises all applicants to complete a Housing Options interview along with their housing application. The interview takes approximately 45 minutes depending on your circumstances.

Housing Options is an approach which offers personal advice to anyone who may need housing advice or assistance. It aims to support you if you feel you are struggling to stay in your current home, to help you make informed choices about your housing options/future and to prevent you from becoming homeless.
