The Glasgow Housing Register: Northwest online application system is temporarily unavailable while further development work is carried out.
If you would like to apply for social housing in the Northwest area or update an existing application, please contact the Housing Associations/Co-operatives to which you wish to apply directly.
Should you wish to apply to Pineview for rehousing, please either contact us by telephone or call into the office to collect an application form.
Complete one application form to apply to any or all of the 14 participating GHR landlords.
If you are over 16, you can apply to Pineview for rehousing.
The Association is a partner landlord in the Glasgow Housing Register (GHR) which is a shared housing register for social landlords. GHR has been developed in partnership with the Registered Social Landlords (Housing Associations and Co-Operatives) who have houses to let in the Northwest of Glasgow, and was launched during 2017.
This means social housing applicants only need to complete one application form to apply to any or all of the 14 participating landlords, known as Partners.
A valid email address is required to complete an application. There are a number of free email providers and, in most cases, a new email account can be created in a matter of minutes. More information on creating an email address can be found on the GHR website.
The easiest way to apply to apply for rehousing is to call into our office where one of our staff will guide you through the process.
When completing an application for rehousing with Pineview you must provide the following for you and anyone over the age of 16 wishing to be rehoused with you (only original proofs will be accepted):
- 1 form of Proof of Identification i.e. Passport, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, Bank Card (signed)
- 1 form of proof of address i.e. Utility bill, bank statement, Benefit letter (must be within last 6 weeks)
- Proof of Child Benefit i.e. Bank Statement showing award, Award letter
It is advisable to hand-deliver your documents where possible and obtain a receipt. However, if you are posting your documentation to us you should ensure that this is sent by Recorded or Special Delivery to ensure that your documentation arrives safely. We will return your documentation in the same manner. Your application will be processed but remain pending until all documentation is provided.
Depending on how many partner landlords you request to be considered by, you will potentially be asked to submit this information more than once.
The Association advises all applicants to complete a Housing Options interview along with their housing application. The interview takes approximately 45 minutes depending on your circumstances.
Housing Options is an approach which offers personal advice to anyone who may need housing advice or assistance. It aims to support you if you feel you are struggling to stay in your current home, to help you make informed choices about your housing options/future and to prevent you from becoming homeless.
